The Church is compared to the body of Christ, and as each part of the body serves an important function to the well being of the body, so each member in the Church. Rev. Compton follows by highlighting from the text how we ought not do diminish our gifts, nor should we boast, thinking our gift is superior to others, but recognize that all gifts and all good things come from God.
